The International Cooperation and Exchange Office of Huazhong Agricultural University (HZAU) joined a delegation of Chinese higher education institutions organized by the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) to attend the 76th annual conference of the Association of International Educators (NAFSA) in the United States in the end of May.
The delegation also participated in the China-Mexico Higher Education Exchange Conference and visited Ibero-American University in Mexico. Zeng Hongxia, the director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office was among those attending the exchange meetings.

The delegation participated in over 10 events in the US. The representatives promoted the university's educational philosophy, key disciplines and talent cultivation achievements to international educators.
They engaged in discussions about establishing student programs, faculty exchanges and the establishment of joint educational institutions with such universities as the University of California, Davis, University of California, Riverside, University of Alberta, University of Göttingen, National University of Singapore, Lincoln University, and Victoria University of Wellington.
During their visit, the delegation attended the China-Mexico Higher Education Exchange Conference co-hosted by CEAIE and the Mexican Association of Higher Education. The representatives had talks with several representatives of Mexican universities and research institutions, including the Northwest Biological Research Center, Anahuac University and the University of Guanajuato, and discussed cooperation possibilities.

The NAFSA annual conference is the most significant educational industry event in the US and the largest global gathering of education professionals. This year's conference attracted over 350 educational institutions from nearly 50 countries and regions, and more than 9,000 education professionals from over 100 countries and regions.
