On Dec 6, Rwanda's Ambassador to China James Kimonyo and his asssistant Joanna Munyana paid a friendly visit to Huazhong Agricultural University (HZAU).
Yan Jianbing, president of HZAU, met with the guests and gave a brief introduction to HZAU and its recent developments, including the university's cooperation and exchanges with Rwandan universities and research institutions, especially the University of Rwanda.

He expressed his hope that the Embassy of Rwanda in Beijing, China, can support the substantive cooperation between HZAU and Rwanda in collaborative research, technology transfer, talent cultivation, personnel exchanges and cultural exchanges.
Ambassador James Kimonyo expressed his gratitude for the warm reception at HZAU and praised the cooperation achievements between HZAU and the University of Rwanda. He expressed his willingness to support and promote the cooperation between HZAU and Rwandan institutions in technology transfer, talent cultivation, overseas education, and student and faculty exchanges.
