Faculty members and 41 students from Huazhong Agricultural University's (HZAU) College of Informatics attended the 41st CCF National Conference of Computer Applications (CCF NCCA 2026) in Wuhan from Aug 7 to 10. HZAU was one of the co-organizers of the event.
The conference brought together researchers and industry representatives to discuss advances in computer applications, with topics ranging from flexible electronics and intelligent unmanned systems to intelligent agent systems and industry-specific large models.
HZAU participants listened to keynote presentations and attended themed forums on topics such as artificial intelligence applications, big data and computing infrastructure in fields such as marine science, finance, power systems, and agriculture.
A dedicated forum focused on digital technologies in modern agriculture, including smart livestock farming and AI applications in agriculture. Li Guoliang, dean of HZAU's College of Informatics, presented the college's research on smart agriculture.
Through the conference, students and faculty gained a closer look at how intelligent technologies are being applied in real agricultural settings and exchanged ideas with researchers from across China. The event also highlighted HZAU's efforts to connect information technology with agricultural research and education.
