Notaguchi Michitaka is an esteemed professor of Kyoto University and Nagoya University in Japan, specializing in the fields of plant grafting biology and systemic signal transduction.
Professor Michitaka's research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of vegetable grafting and molecular transport at the grafting junction. He has innovatively developed miniature grafting devices. His research covers a wide range of areas, including reactive oxygen species generation, intercellular sieve tube permeability in flowering crops, and intergenus grafting.
He is involved in various editorial and scientific committees, and is dedicated to advancing the field of plant biology.
