Huazhong Agricultural University (HZAU) held its 2026 graduation glow run and lawn concert on June 6, offering graduates a warm farewell as they prepared to leave campus. The event, based on the theme Set Out for Happiness, brought together university officials, faculty, and graduating students.

The glow run began at 7 pm at the sports field on the eastern campus. Students received glow sticks, bracelets, and headbands before heading out along the campus greenway. The route passed through several campus sites, allowing the participants to revisit places that had been part of their university experience.

At the finish line near the student activity center, drinks and cultural souvenirs were provided. Students took photos with friends and wrote their wishes for the future on a wall set up by a public welfare project initiated by a 2021 alumnus.

After the run, a lawn concert was held. Students sat on the grass, waved glow sticks, and listened to songs in the evening breeze. The performances included solo singing, a street dance show, and a choir performance.

Graduating students said the event helped them reflect on their four years at the university and say goodbye to campus life. Younger students also sent their wishes to the graduates and said they were inspired to make the most of their time at HZAU.

The evening concluded with music, lights, and memories, marking both a farewell and a new beginning for the class of 2026.
