The journal Horticulture Advances, hosted by the National Key Laboratory for Germplasm Innovation & Utilization of Horticultural Crops of Huazhong Agricultural University, has been included in Scopus.
Scopus, developed by Elsevier, is the world's largest peer-reviewed academic abstract and citation database. It encompasses a comprehensive array of disciplines spanning 27 subject domains, including natural sciences, engineering, medicine, and social sciences.
Professor Liu Jihong, editor-in-chief of Horticulture Advances, said that the journal debuted in June 2023 and subsequently secured a spot in DOAJ, a unique and extensive index of diverse open access journals from around the world. Its recent acceptance into the Scopus database is a recognition by the international academic community of the journal's scholarly merit, promising broader global dissemination of its research articles.
Published under the auspices of Springer Nature, Horticulture Advances boasts an editorial team comprising 34 scholars hailing from 11 nations, including a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and seven highly regarded experts in their respective fields. To date, the journal has issued seven editions, featuring a total of 54 published papers.
