Huazhong Agricultural University's (HZAU) student clubs recently organized 20 welcome events to introduce new students to campus life and showcase their diverse and colorful club culture. Through engaging activities and vivid presentations, these clubs helped freshmen smoothly transition into their new environment.
On the evenings of Sept 5 to 6, the Hip-hop Club transformed a campus field into a stage, performing with dynamic music. The dancers expertly blended four different street dance styles and executed a series of high-difficulty moves that drew cheers and applause from the excited crowd.
The following day, a more traditional experience awaited students at the student activity center. The drama club, traditional music club, and Chinese orchestra teamed up for a joint performance of ancient music and traditional Chinese opera. The collaboration brought the captivating beauty of classic arts to the new students.
In the afternoon, a volunteer service sharing session was hosted at the student activity center. A video documenting the volunteers' teaching experiences played on a large screen, captivating the audience. The club president's heartfelt account of working with rural children, from building their team to designing lessons, moved many attendees. The event showcased the students' dedication and emphasized the club's profound social impact.
These events not only offered new students a fun introduction to HZAU's campus but also highlighted the creativity, passion, and commitment of its vibrant student community.
