The Museum of Huazhong Agricultural University is located at the foot of Shizi Mountain in Wuhan. It is a natural science museum that integrates agriculture, scientific research, and popular science functions. The museum systematically collects and displays nearly 300,000 specimens related to various majors at Huazhong Agricultural University since its establishment. The exhibition is divided into six units, including the Entrance Hall, Insects Exhibition Hall, Wild Nature Hall (Wildlife), Livestock and Veterinary Medicine Hall, Plants Exhibition Hall, and Earth's Treasures Hall (Soil and Geology).
The museum is open to the public for free. The museum has been recognized as a National Popular Science Education Base, National Agricultural Popular Science Education Demonstration Base, Hubei Province Popular Science Education Base, Wuhan City Popular Science Education Base, Hongshan District Popular Science Education Base, and Hongshan District Cultural and People-Benefiting Base.
